Our Products

For Star Architects and Romping Children

Whether Daniel Libeskind in Bern-Brünnen grows a new quarter or playground builders such as SIK-Holz or Kukuk create creative playground systems for children: whoever looks for solid wood for external construction, he can rely on our Robinia products. And we also recommend Robinia for the internal area as parquet wood and for building stairs. Due to its excellent static characteristics, long-lasting stability and particular hardness, the Robinia is an ecological alternative to tropical hardwoods.

The Robinia

An Immigrant from America

The summer-green broadleaf tree with the hard, durable and golden-brown wood comes from the North-Eastern of America and has been at home in Europe since the 17th century. Because its leaves resemble those of the acacia, Robinia is also described as False Acacia. In contrast, it owes its rather attractive name Silver Rain, to their white florescence which looks like a bunch of grapes. The fact that its dried legumes remind us a little bit of locusts brought it in the USA the name Black Locust.

The Eurobinia Network

Widely Ramified Throughout Europe

We’ve built the eurobinia network around the production and trade of Robinia wood starting from Oldenburg. We are convinced about the quality and the ecological advantages of this hardwood and we are proud of our fair, transnational cooperation: you can find our main production facilities in Kajászó (Hungary) – for customer care and sales, we’re there for you at our office in Oldenburg (Germany).
